Man, do I love the RTPE. I use little to nothing else for my hard drive shopping, and I find it useful for other items as well. What makes the hard drive portion of the Real Time Price Engine so perfect is its bang-per-buck ability. When I shop for hard drives, I almost always buy according to cost/gigabyte as it suits my needs best.

If it would be feasible, having something similar for other items would be exceptional. Easiest would probably be the CPU's, sorting by cost/score. With some sort of benmark(s) for scoring, this would be nice to extend my bang-per-buck search abilities to the ARTPE. This would also be great with other items such as video cards. Unfortunately things get more complicated, but it could be done with either an AnandTechnical score or synthetic benchmarks, adding a great summary of much of the data I encounter in AnandTech articles to the search engine. "Sad" to say, I may not find any use for other price search engines if such data were incorporated.

Also, I don't like clicking on SATA storage and being taken to a rebate page, and when I clicked on PCIe ATI I was first taken to a refurb page - that really did not please me. Just some feedback.

Super. Your excellent review of the RTPE has netted you 23 ATCPBs! (Anandtech Cool Point Bucks)

When you accumulate 1000 ATCPBs you will receive...uh...well, we're still working on the giveaways. Keep the reviews coming!

I would like to buy a vowel...or an hour of labor towards implementing my suggestion on the CPU's ;)
