I spent the last couple hours trying to figure out how to write a communications script.
I want a single key, say kp_5, to enable two keys, say kp_uparrow/kp_downarrow, to cycle through all the various voice communications (so I would need to echo an identifier of each voice communication to my screen). Then, once I found the one I want, press another key to select it (or maybe have it automatically select itslef if the cycle keys are idle for a few seconds?).
I have no clue how to do this. I read through various scripts involving menu and cycle systems trying to figure out how to do it, but all I did was manage to screw up my number pad bindings.
Anyway, any help would be greatly apreciated.
TIA>
P.S. Does anyone know the enable anistopic filtering commad? I want to place it in my autoexec.cfg so it stays enabled. It disables itself unpon exiting RtCW. I have to manually re-enable it via the display settings screen during a game.
