RTCW...restoring saved games

it has been a while since I've played Wolfenstein. I reformatted a few months back and saved my saved games, but i could never get them to work, so I gave up on it after a while. But I've decided to try again. I just wanted to find out where the saved game files should be placed and if there is anything special that I need to do to restore my old saves.
