RSS Feeds in multiple browsers

Is there a way I can view RSS feeds across multiple browsers? For instance Firefox lets me click the little feed button in the address bar to view a nicely formatted feed. But if I try to paste the same url into IE or Chrome it goes back to the straight html. Basically I want what Feedburner does, have an RSS feed available across multiple browsers. I don't want to use external software like Google Reader, just the browser and the URL to the feed. Thanks for the help.

Use google reader? Add whatever feed you want to the reader and it'll show up the same in any browser.

yes, use a web based rss reader, it will show up in any browser with proper formatting, or just use firefox only.

I use Google Reader exclusively, it's a nice combination with iGoogle. I like to read my feeds anywhere, anytime. Client-side feeds sucked. :)
