RSA securid token error 3.

I've got one of these RSA secure ID tokens where you key in your PIN onto the token, and enter the code into the secure application.

It's started showing a tiny "3" in the corner of the display. It still seems to work. Any idea what this means?
 
Maybe indicating either imminent failure (battery) or expiration within the security domain.
