RRoD on 360 again

So I was playing Madden, then the game decided to freeze up. When I restarted the console, I got color strips, and then an eventual 3 red rings. After waiting a few minutes though, the red rings went away, and the console booted up normally. However I know death is near, and I just want to get this fixed ASAP. If I submit the console to microsoft, will they deny me if they boot up and see green lights? I described the problem in my warranty repair submission, but I don't want to waste my time if they're just going to send it back unrepaired.

They should repair it. If not, I'm sure they will send you a refurbished unit. I've had my RROD and then come back to life, but it lived for probably.. an hour or so after and then proceeded to die. You should be fine.

have you had any other problems with it recently? Freezing, longer than normal load times, etc?

lots of freezing. The last two games, Lost Odyssey and Madden, both completely froze up at times.

Yea wait till you have the RRoD all the time. My 5th 360 started to do that; within 2 weeks it was a constant RRoD. Wait until then otherwise they may claim nothing is wrong and charge you or some lameness like that.

I laugh at the 360's build quality. I hardly use them and they fail, keep them super clean and dust free also.

Meanwhile my Ps3s, which I have used a lot, have no problem at all.

.-. The constant support of defective hardware from XBox players always boggles my mind.

Yeah, but the fangirls do not consider it defective if is regularly freezes or reboots. Only if it permanently RRoDs do they consider it broken, and even then do not report the breakage to us if MS sends them a refurbed replacement within a month or two.

Um, this is dumb. You don't have to wait. In fact, when my 360 RROD'd and I had to go through all the testing crap with support on the phone, it booted up just fine. He had me turn it off and on again and I got the RROD. he had me send it in for a replacement.
