I'm trying to clean up a disk and there are a tone of *.rra files. Is it safe to delete them or is it going to cause issues with software I have installed? Thanks for the help.

*.RRA Files are created by InstallShield and other programs. These are files that are created in the Program Directory when the file that the installation is trying to replace is locked. The file will be created with the first four letters of the real file name, followed by 4 random numbers and letters, followed by an extension of RRA.

Unfortunately, there is no one size fits all approach. Some RRA files are just settings or configuration info for their respective programs while some might be data links rquired by the program to run.
