RPM sensor for Antec Trueblue

Tiamat

Lifer
I hope this hasnt been posted before, i did a very quick search...

Anyways, I was wondering if the rpm signal to motherboard only tells the speed of the rear 80mm fan of this psu. I covered up the back of the psu with my hand, and the rpms dropped by 150. This could mean that the rpm signal applies only to the 80mm.

I was just curious. I have the SuperLanboy, so with the slk947 heatsink, its a bit too tight for me to use my finger to stop the 92mm fan and see if the rpms is dramatically altered.

Thanks for replies.

BTW, its an older Trueblue before SATA era. 😀

Bump

I guess this question could apply to any 2 fan psus that have a psu fan rpm sensing wire. Does that wire only measure rpm of the 80mm or 92mm, or both?

You get an RPM reading from your Antec PSU fan !! Which mother board do you use ? I dont get a PSU Fan RPM reading from my TruePower480 and ASUS P4C800ED board combination. I have tried all the 3 fan headers on the board.
