I set mine to where it cools well with the minimum amount of noise. :D

Currently my HSF is running at 2200 rpm, while the case fan is at 2700 rpm.

which would be at what value?

should i increase mine?

it's currently at 2020 rpm (cpu fan), pwr fan is 2109 rpm

and i really think i should do that to mine cuz it's at avg around 48-51 when i do regular stauff

but when i play CS it goes up to 54-56 and at times reboots cuz of that as well

wrong forum... :p ;) :D

that entirely depends on how your system is set up, your ambient temps, how hard your cpu is working, and how quiet you want it. :)

well i think it's more important to keep my CPU healthy and cool (i.e. under 55.....but i want ti to be safe so more like under 53 or 52 including when i play CS)

here's a noob question, do i change the rpm in my bios? i use MBM to monitor my mobo, can i change it within MBM?

thx in advance

can't remember what fan it was, its not a fancy one, got it from SVC for 20 bucks or so, but i'm sure it can spin faster than what it's set to at the moment

Unless you fan has a knob on it to set the RPM, you can't, it is rated at a certain RPM and that is where it will stay.
