Is there a way to list all installed packages? I need to uninstall something but can't figure out what its called to the exact letter, so just want to get a list of installed packages. I tried rpm -l rpm --list etc... no luck. And man page does not specify anything about it.

rpm -qa

If you want to trim down the potential name of the package with the few letters you know type:

rpm -qa | grep <phrase>
