Here are the 2, or possibly unified problems I'm currently having
In Network and sharing Center:
1 - check FILE SHARING to ON; green light goes on (for icon) but text says CUSTOM
2 - try to turn PUBLIC FOLDER SHARING to ON but it goes straight to OFF and I get the message "RPC Server Unavailable"
of course, I can't access this computer on the network now. Other computers in my house can see me, but none can get in due to permissions; and of course this issue is stopping me from changing them
any help?
