RPC Server Unavailable with Leadtek TV2000

I got the Leadtek Winfast TV2000XP TV Tuner card hooked up and everything but i can't use it because the software won't install. It extracts all the files and such and then stops with an error: "RPC Server Unavailable". Any ideas what causes this and how to fix it?
 
What OS are you using? Sounds like the software install is trying to communicate with computer. I have never used a TV tuner card, but if its calling for RPC that sounds like the reason for the error.
 
i'm using windows XP. I got it to install just now by messing around with my services, but when i restarted to finish the job i got the same error and couldn't seal the deal. Now i get the error again
