I provided reasons. You have no right to other peoples money.

That's one "reason".

Ok, so if someone loses their job and is unable to find another, you would prefer that they become homeless, or starve, or resort to crime to feed themselves / their family?

Or if someone is heavily disabled and doesn't have some rich friends to take care of them, what do you suppose a civilised society should do about it?

Never said that. Stop making assumptions. All I am saying is you have no right to my money. It should be based on charity.

So what you're saying is, it's not your problem, it's someone else's.

Or are you saying that the money that you pay in taxes that goes toward the welfare system, you would volunteer to pay that to a set of charities to benefit those less fortunate? If so, do you think everyone who has the same feeling as you do about the welfare system would do the same as you do with that money if they had the choice? Not everyone would? Then what happens to the shortfall in funds that the charities would need to take care of the less fortunate?

I already donate money to charity. Do you donate to charity or are you a leftist who supports idiotic welfare programs and claims that is charity.

Welfare should be ended. You're taking money from hardworking taxpayers to give to them to buy votes.

I don't believe you, whenever people want to stop welfare abuse the liberals come out in full force and are against it.
Yet another strawman argument. Can you show where anyone has said that they don't want to stop welfare abuse? No. Why are you so disingenuous in your arguments?
