Now good 'ole racist Roy doesn't respect the Constitution either. He wants to eliminate amendments after the 10th.
Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore said on a radio show in 2011 that getting rid of constitutional amendments after the Tenth Amendment would "eliminate many problems,"
https://www.metro.us/news/politics/roy-moore-constitutional-amendments

Some of the good ones after the 10th...

13th - abolish slavery
15th - prohibits federal and state governments from denying citizens the right to vote based on "race, color, or previous condition of servitude,"
19th - allowed women to vote
24th - eliminated poll taxes

Along with pedophilia great BFF for Trump. Hope you supporters are proud of where the nation is going.

If he gets elected and if he doesn't get thrown out of the Senate after saving that seat for the Repubs, then like what the OP just posted, a nice big fat balloon full of that kind of racist drivel is going to explode all over his fellow Senate Repubs a lot sooner than later.

As many times as they've not listened to it and got shit backfired all over themselves, the Repubs really need to be careful what they wish for.

Roy Moore is an idiot. However I think the plan is to get him elected, have an ethics investigation and toss him out. Then have another republican appointed to serve that doesn't have the baggage.

With regard to the OP, I'm feeling a touch of deja vu: Trump kept saying progressively stupid things during his campaign that in any sane world would have ruled him out of the race, and here we have Moore doing the same sort of thing.

As stubborn as he is from refusing to drop out of the race, I'm thinking McConnell is going to have to remove Moore out of his seat with armed guards, a 100 ton hydraulic jack and a dozen fourteen year old girls dressed in those cute short skirted plaid school uniforms waving at him just outside the Senate Chamber doors. ;)

Seriously though, don't you think he's going to put up a really embarrassing fuss about being removed? And wouldn't his Alabamian supporters that elected him to office scream bloody murder about outsiders disrespecting their decision to send Moore to the Senate?

Maybe if they tell Roy that a local children's beauty pageant wants him to MC he'll make a beeline out the door. The fact that they support him in the first place just kills me, especially in light of the fact that his supporters claim to be Christians. Would Jesus approve? Hell no he doesn't.

Absent the racism, pedophilia, homophobia and Islamophobia I don't know why conservatives don't reject him for not respecting the Constitution? Isn't that their #1 requirement?

Or is this just another slice from the hypocrisy cake?

No morality, check. No respect for the Constitution, check. What do those people have left? At lease they can still get their hate on for brown people.

Let's get real here. If Moore wins after Trump endorsed him & RNC funded him, ain't no way the Senate is going to throw him out.

They will throw a hissy fit, then roll right over and make excuses for him to stay until the next election, like they've done every single time.

...and the national GOP went all in supporting and funding him. I don't see how McConnel can publicly go against the wishes and desires of the GOP and their voters: funding a racist, pedophile, theocrat scumbag like Roy Moore. The perfect mascot for the GOP!

The Conservative constitution only has one amendment.

Moore is the embodiment of every caricature of conservatives and Southerners.

Racist? Check
Pine for the good ol days of slavery? Check
Bible thumping hypocrite? Check
Anti-science ignoramus? Check
Sexual pervert? Check (guess he gets points for not molesting his own daughter...)

Question is, will the majority of voters validate the stereotype? Your move Alabama.

This is unbelievable.
They say whatever they want, do whatever they want, break every law they want, make a mockery of religion, morals, decency, and still the people vote for these horrid creeps.

Moore was asked by a child what Moore would do if elected, and Moore replied bring god back to America.
O...M...G !!!!
This child molester wants to tell YOU how to live and dictate who can and who can not take part in the American dream? Really?

What the hell has happened to people? Especially in Alabama?
Is it the water? Alien abductions? Pod people? Russians in disguise?
I think that's it!
Putin and his soldiers in disguise have taken over Alabama.

If you're talking about him installing 'the 10 commandments' in the court house, then it's probably filed under "stuff that ought to be in the constitution" according to conservatives.

Moore is 5'6 and 70 years old.
I'll personally remove him for 20 bucks.
My sister could probably remove him

The people of Alabama won't vote for Doug Jones because he supports the murder of millions of babies and that's worse than anything Roy Moore has said or done or is accused of doing. Or at least that's what they will say. The evangelical republican base is so rigidly defended that I doubt change can come from anywhere other than within.

But, hey, if we didn't have the 16th amendment anymore, we wouldn't have to worry about ironing out any tax reforms.

I believe this is an accurate depiction of their predicament.

I don't see how Moore doesn't win. Voter apathy is Moore's friend. It's the ones who don't bother to vote that are going to elect him. And on the radio this morning (paraphrase): "I'd rather vote for a rapist than a murderer (abortion)."

The Republicans have shown us in the last couple of years that no matter how much of an ass their candidate is, no matter how much they publically decry that ass of a candidate, when push comes to shove they will get on their knees and kiss that ass.

We all remember the recent demonstration of this at Trump's cabinet meeting don't we?
