"Leigh Corfman, who claimed that former Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore molested her when she was 14 years old, has filed a defamation lawsuit against him.

The lawsuit, filed Thursday in Montgomery County Circuit Court, also names Moore's campaign as a defendant.

Moore and his campaign committee "have defamed Ms. Corfman, repeatedly and in all forms of media, calling her a liar and questioning her motivation for publicly disclosing that Mr. Moore sexually abused her in 1979 when she was a 14-year-old high school freshman and he was a 32-year-old assistant district attorney."

Her lawsuit is a defamation suit. It has nothing to do with him being creepy.

I have seen some claim that was true and some ( that actually worked at the mall ) claimed it was not true.

There have been so many lies and counter points made on this story that is decades old. It would be impossible to get at the actual truth. To claim you know is you being dishonest.

Here's the thing: there are numerous women who've accused Moore of horrible behavior. He signed a teen girl's yearbook and lied about having ever met her. There are claims he was banned from a mall. And of course, he had a reputation even at the time. More than likely, he's guilty -- there's a pattern, and Moore is a demonstrated liar.

Attempting to rush to his defense is like trying to defend Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein or Donald Trump. Men like that are clearly guilty, but are hoping to skate by on technicalities. "Numerous women say I assaulted them, and I've even admitted to assault, but can you give me a free pass just because there's no rape kit or video footage? Thanks!"

I think what's really hilarious is the notion I get that Trump looks at Moore with the same disgust and condescension that Moore has for Trump, both having the need to see that they would never ever see each other as equals in any way shape or form.

Trump for the wealth and celebrity status that he thinks sets them worlds apart and Moore for the religious fervor that burns in his loins of which he feels Trump is totally devoid of.

No. I am not defending him at all. You read too much into my posts. I am only talking about her defamation law suit. She has no proof at all to substantiate her claim. What he did or didn't do 30 years ago I don't know and neither do you. Have you seen any solid proof either way? Post me link if you have. It is all one big rumor at this point.
