Me too. It's a shame because if I read the article right, Rowan crashed his McLaren F1. There are only a few in the world, so you know that thing was worth some serious money.

from the interview i remember him saying he's put ~40,000 miles on it and it's the same one he lent to top gear a few years ago

Well it is a 600bhp ultralight supercar with no traction control or even ABS. Crashing it is pretty much inevitable.
