Routing sound from the woods into my home

The microphone I have for the moment in a big parabolic dish facing into the woods is a:
condenser mic
Impedance 1 KOhm (adjustable)
Freq range:20-15KHz
sensitivity:-64db
Signal to noise ratio:+60db
Max SPL: 120db

It came with a small 9 Volt battery box with instructions to connect the mic to said box via a shielded non attenuating cable (jacks and ports are 3.5 mm).
I need to go from said battery box 100m to the house where someone advised a few channel amp (6-8) to accept the feed from the mic via battery box, and allow me to attach a digital recorder, single speakers in separate rooms (I expect the sound will be mono until I get another parabolic dish and microphone) and headphones.

Can folk advise me the best way to proceed without breaking the bank; what sort of cable, amplifier, speakers any other components I should include for digital recording and minimal interference and loss of sound quality. Nice clear amplification of the sounds from the woods e.g. at night (coyote, various cats etc), would be really sweet to hear.
