Hi,

Is there any way to do this? I have a Jabra GNM-OTE4 headset and I can't seem to route Google navigation's voice instructions over to it from my Android phone. Under the headset's settings->profiles I only see "Phone audio". Does this headset not support this function?

Also, I can't figure out how to stream music either.

Thanks.

I believe phone audio IS navigation audio. I have a BT car speaker and it routes 100% of my Android's audio over including notification tones, rings, music, navigation.

Doesn't seem to work for me though. I can make phone calls via the headset, but nothing else.

I'm on Andromadus Mimicry 1.5.0(based on ICS) on a HTC Desire Z if that matters.

So with your headset sync'd with your phone, if you activate turn by turn navigation, you don't hear it through your headset?

Sounds like that device may not support a2dp profile and is phone calls only.

Yup

This

Your blue tooth headset/speaker needs to support A2DP for it.
OK. Not sure if mine does. I don't have the manual anymore, and a google search for the model number doesn't yield anything. It was the cheapest Jabra headset I could find at the shop lol. The closest Google result is the BT2080, which, according to Jabra's website, doesn't support music streaming not AVRCP, whatever that is.

You don't have to use A2DP. If you have a mono ear Bluetooth headset, you can download an app named SoundAbout (need pro key too). It will allow you to route media audio to a Bluetooth mono headset.
