Routing DSL internet from Actiontec 1524->Linksys WRT54G->Computer

Well, topic says most of whats going on.

I have an Actiontec 1524 DSL modem with integrated 4 port router, but I just bought a WRT54G for wireless and extra features provided by the 3rd party firmware DD-WRT.

Is it possible that I could route the internet through the Linksys and somehow bypass the router integrated in the Actiontec?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need to bridge (disables router functionality and makes it a plain modem) your DSL modem http://www.qwest.com/internethelp/modems/15201524/index.html
Then configure PPPoE on your router for authentication.

I use PPPoA on my router, and my router only allows for PPPoE

Worth a stab, call your ISP and ask if they can build you PPPoE if they have the capabilities on their end. Otherwise...SOL :thumbsdown:

Blarg - Qwest only supports PPPoA.
Any other things I could do?
Or was the WRT54G a waste of money?
