Hi all...
I'm trying to hook my newly-acquired Win2k laptop to a win9x desktop via parallel cable (no spare cash for a laptop network card) by setting the laptop to accept incoming connections.
When I try to set up Accept incoming connections, I get an error stating that the Routing and Remote Access service was unable to start. The system event log mentions Service-specific error 505. This service is dependent on RPC (which is running) and NetBIOS Group (which doesn't appear in the services listing).
Being a Win2k newbie, I'm absolutely clueless. Can anyone please help?
