Which ports do i open on my Netgear RT314 router to get better pings on battle.net?

any help would be appreciated.

Opening ports won't get you better ping times. It'll only allow computers on the outside the ability to connect to your computer and any applications running on those ports. So long as you're not hosting the game there's really not a whole lot you can do for ping times on the router side of things.

well..maybe you can.

Find out what ports the game uses and open them for when you are playing. Your low pings may be those ports timing out and then the game switching to an open secondary port... so try it..the worst that can happen is you box gets hacked and the FBI, secret service, or the NSA will come and take it for evidence. ;)

actually, bungie says port 6112 for UDP. so i opened that port up and voila, all the games i been seeing in red, i see green now. :)
