I have a 4 port router, and i have connected my two PC's through it so i have cable internet on both of them. Now i got a laptop, and i bought an identical crossover patch cable for a 3rd connection. For some reason it recognizes the LAN created between the pc's but not the internet. While if i connect one of my old cables used for my 2nd pc to the laptop, internet flies through automatically.
