Hi~~I just get setup with cable modem--Adelphia
i also have a linksys router. I used to used it with DSL.
right now, i am having problem with setting up with
cable modem. any idea? the tech told me that everything
is auto setting, like ip address and dns.....
 
Could be Authentication problem.

Usually DSL use PPPOE. Cable uses MAC.

Find out from Adelphia what is their Authentication scheme.

If it is MAC number, clone your NIC MAC to the Router.
