Router w/ VPN for Home Use

I am (finally) going to be getting a cable modem connection this weekend. I want to purchases an inexpensive router/firewall for the connection. I want to get a router that includes SPI and content filtering. I would also like to have VPN connections built in to the router. The VPN capability is more for fun (access my home network from work or a business trip and set up a VPN connection between my dad's network and mine.)

I looked at the following routers: Linksys BEFSX41, Netgear Prosafe FVS318, and SMC 7004FW. It looks like the Linksys was the best choice for the price, but any one has any experience with any of these, I would appreciate any suggestions.
