Router to a 5 port hub? Good or bad?

I just recieved a Dlink 5 port hub DSH-5
and a 1 port Linksys BEFSR11 router.

Will these 2 go fine together? Any loss is speed? Any special setup for maximum connection? BTW, i have Winxp pro

Hooking both computer and xbox up to the hub, but computer wont be used at same time as xbox so i should have full bandwidth to one or the other. Im on verizon 1.5/128

As long as you use less than 10 computers it does not make a difference.
