This evening I changed the time in my wireless router to correspond with the new Daylight Savings Time. What is the importance or perhaps the relevence of having the correct local time in your wireless router?

It all depends - literally.

Do you have any services that are dependent on the time being correct? Such as logging? Or access being granted or denied based on time of day?

If the Router is capable, and used for some time sensitive automatic behavior, it would do it an hour earlier. Like, if it set to block the Internet every day at 5pm it would block at what is Now 4pm.

Otherwise, it does Not Matter.

Thanks so much, your responses are about what I figured. No, I don't use those features, but I appreciate the comments.
