Router Simulating Software

can someone recommend a good Router Simulator? i have used one called RouterSim, which in my opinion is a piece of sh!t, it is very slow. but it had great tutorials. does anyone know a better program that is similar to RouterSim? this type of software is very handy for learning router commands.

RouterSim would be fine if it wasn't made in toolbook, i assume that is what makes it run so slow.

im not sure if they're what im after but i'll have a look. im looking for software that is used for learning the router software/commands, but by the sounds of it those distros are for actually using a computer as a router.

I looked from feb to april and routersim is the best and pretty much only one. You should have bought the first version. Be thankful they're up to the second edition.

damn 🙁

i would be happy to use routersim if it was coded as a proper win32 program. toolbook is terribly slow.

thanks for the info mattingly i cant imagine it being worse 😉
