router recommendation

streaming HD content even with N band can be a problem. I found i had to go wired for anything above mid bitrate 720P content. My .02 cents.

Linksys also has some good models. You can also go Belkin wireless router N+ model F5D8235-4 (lifetime warranty). This one is ideal for file sharing, streaming high-definition video, online gaming, VoIP phone calls, and telecommuting.

depends on bitrate. standard rips (mkv) work fine over n wireless. I do it. no issue even with 1080p. of course full blu ray won't work.

I have netgear wndr3700. the good thing is you can setup 2 networks and dedicate one for streaming-only.

I will never buy a Belkin router personally, just cannot stand that brand. My parents had 2-3 routers from them over the years and I loathed working with them.

I'm really happy with my Asus RT-N12 router, especially with DD-WRT installed, though it may not be robust enough for your needs. For any significantly bandwidth intensive streaming though, I would go wired as well.
