I use Earthlink ADSL, which gives 3 IP addresses. But I have 4 computers in my house. The fourth computer is hooked up to lets say, the third computer and is using ICS, using a crossover cable. But, ICS isn't very good and 90% of websites don't show up. Would getting a router enable the fourth computer to connect to the internet using WinPoET? If I have this wrong, please correct me.

This is the way all the computers are hooked up:

3 computers are plugged into a 4 port hub, which goes into the DSL modem. The third computer has 2 NIC's one goes to the hub, and one is connected to the fourth computer with a crossover cable. All computers use Windows 2000 Pro.

A router would solve the problem.. and if you're paying for those 2 extra IP addresses to have 3 total, you could get rid of 2 of them and use the router... (saving $$$)

Alright, thanks, but if I get a router, would I just use the router, or the router and the hub?
