Before I moved into my current place they had a router setup and not having any problems. Since I moved in we have replaced the router 3 times becuase our internet connection would go down randomly throughtout the whole day. Before we replaced the routers we called comcast and they said everything looks fine on thier end. Anyone have a suggestion of how to diagnose this problem?

Look fine from thier End means a little more than "Bubkes".

Connect one computer to the Modem directly and use it for few days if it does the same insisit on a Home visit.

I was having connectivity issue, I built a linux firewall that would ping google every 5 minutes, and kept a log that was mailed to me daily showing downtime. If a direct connection to their modem is failing, then it's most likely their network.

turn pc's off one by one, testing the internet connection from each remaining PC in between? Perhaps a single PC is causing the outage. Since you were the last person to join in on the party, power yours down first then check the connection on the other 4 PCs.

Make sure you guys all arnt downloading stuff through bit torrent, or limewire or anything like that. It will make your router die because there are too many connections at once.
