Router Problems PLEASE Help

I bought a D-Link DI-604 Router and my dad took it into his own hands to hook it up. The router has worked fine in everything but just recently I have had the need to take down the router's firewall in order to host a Gaming Server. Of course I put in the IP and the Login box came up, asking for Username and Password. I tried admin/ and admin/admin, Admin/admin, Admin/ , Admin/Admin, almost everythiing, and nothing worked. So I went and asked my dad if he knows the username/password and he said he was never asked to put one in. Is there a way to reset the username/password or to at least find out what it is? Please help, thanks you.

Try admin as username and a blank password, or a blank user name and admin for the password.

You can usually set the router back to its defaults by holding down the small reset button with a pen or other similar object. Keep in mind you will lose any settings that you have added (which doesn't sound like it would be a problem since you can't get in to configure it in the first place).

If you do reset, make sure you have your broadband account user and passwd. (This all depends on how your broadband is setup, I assume you have broadband)
I once reset my router and didn't remember the passwd, it took a while to get it from the ISP. My ISP uses PPPOE.
