I have a Linksys WRT54G, using Comcast. I just upgraded my firmware to 3.03.6 and now I can't connect through using it.
 
With my router, which is a D-Link, I believe its under Wan, and there is an option to Clone the Mac Address, select that, and either apply or ok, on the bottom of the web page, then reboot the router.. all done.
 
Most Linksys and Dlink gear I have used requires you to reconfigure the router after a firmware update. Did you record all the setting you had before performing the update?
