Router port forwarding and mIRC speeds?

A while back I reset my router and completely reverted all of its changes to stock form. With that it took away the ports I had opened and forwarded. Back then I'd get speeds over 300 kbps when downloading through mIRC but now that my ports have been changed back to their original settings I can barely connect to some bots, and even if I do I will never get over 40 kbps before I am dropped. Any ideas on what ports to forward or open so I can get my speed back? Any help would be great.
