I have a Belkin F5D5231-4 wired 4-port router hooked up with my 3mb ADSL from SBC. It hasn't given me any problem until I started using Bit Comet (a client of Bit Torrent). I only use it at a seldom rate. The connections are fast, as I forwarded my port (from 6881-6889)particularly to download files on BitTorrent, average 200k+ for popular files. However, it started to disconnect every 15 or 20 minutes, during a download with 150+k/sec transfer rate. Sometimes it does resume the connection after a minute or two, sometimes it doesn't, and would keep disconnected until I manually reset the router by unplugging the power cord. At first I wonder if it were the ISP that cut me off, but then I realize its my router's problem as I learn that my neighbor hasn't been having problem with his Linksys(regardless the same ISP)
Can someone kindly please guide me through this hassle? I am tired of having to reset the router every 15 minutes, as it gets frustrated for larger files; eg 4gb+ files
