i have a Cayman 3220H ADSL router that i am hosting a few sites behind, i cannot access the sites via the domain since by default the router does not respond to LAN - WAN - LAN requests. i enabled the proxy arp and changed a few settings, i was able to surf the domain at that time. my pc crashed and I forgot what settings were changed, any help would be greatly appreciated:confused:

I have a server at another office that will not resolve back to itself from within the LAN either. I was told it is a common problem with entry-level routers, they hang on a dns resolve back to their own IP. If you find out these settings, I'll be interested myself. For now, I link the site in IE favorites by LAN IP.
Edit: You can always run nameserver on one of your boxes. I did not want to do that in this case, but it will fix it permanently.
