Router Issues

I have got a Netgear m314 and when i am surfing the net and or using instant messenging my connection will turn laggy then all together i can't access the internet. I am still connected to the router cause i can access the utility but i can't access the interent. The programs that were running before can still access the internet i just can't for example got to a website. I have no idea why and i would like this to stop cause the only way to fix it is to restart my rotuer. Plz HELP!!! This is true for both the wired and wireless connections.

Do all the PCs have this problem, or just yours?

I've had router problems that were not solved just by turning the router on and off. But, they were solved by turning the router off for several minutes.

If it is not too much hassle, you might try taking the router out of the picture and just connect your pc directly to the cable or dsl. If all works well, then be suspicious of your router.

All pcs have this problem could it be i am asking too much for my connection it seems to happen under heavy loads!
