I cant connect to my dsl connection when i have my router hooked up... im using a netcore router (not wireless). anyone have any ideas?

Go to your router configuration page (usually accessed through a web browser) and see if DHCP server is enabled.

Edit: If not, enable it.

are you using verizon dsl??

is your router negotiating the pppoe login, if not it should. What have you done to configure the router and what specifically is it not doing, you are a little vague in your post.

this guy is right...also if you are using Verizon DSL, I think it's Linksys that they want you to use. I know I have been on a few calls with people who used some other brands of routers and Verizon wouldn't even give tech support to you....they just repeated to me that "we don't support anything other then Linksys Products".

um dont really know how to configure it..the error it gives me says it cant connect to ppoe or something...and no im not using verizon dsl
