Hello guys, in need of some assistance please:

Cuurently my router has decided to stop working out of nowhere.
I click on repair and i get:

flushing arp error and renew ip error.

==========
setup: wireless d-link di-713p router

cable modem

==========

checked if there is internet:
connected cable directly to computer - it works (therefor im typing this)
cable modem = works
network card = works
ethnet cable = works

==========

checked dlink router (connected to #1) to network card = solid green works
same cable, removed from #1 and connected to WAN and cable modem = Fails
it doesnt stay solid green... it just continues to blink.

I went to settinh a small home/office setting:
i tried all setting.. none worked for me:
(by the way at that time I had it setup as the usual:

Cable modem - cable connected to WAN dlink router
Dlink router #1 cable connecting to my network card)

============

I clicked repair in different stages, I get the same result.
so I decided than:

Start - Run - cmb
netsh interface ip delete arpcache
OK...
tried everything ocne more, clicked repair as well.. same error....
I give up.
i know everything works except my Dlink wont talk to my cable modem..
Pls help

When you are plugged into #1 on the dlink, does your computer get a valid ip address? 192.168.x.y or an auto config address - 169.254.x.y.
Sometimes cable modems marry a MAC address. Try to clone your NIC's mac address in your router if you can login to it. Try factory resetting the router?
