Router IP distributing

HI my wireless D-Link router has been acting very strange. About onece every day every computer gives a message that the router is not assigning it an IP address, even though my router is configured with DNS relay enabled. I dont even know what the problem is, let alone how to solve it????? 😕

DNS has nothing do with handing out IP addresses. You need to play around with your DHCP settings.

Yeah, sorry said DNS, meant DHCP. I tried both. Also every time this happens resetting the router fixes it(but its a pain it the rear).

what model is the router - have you tried updating the firmware?

The router is a DI-624

Yes, I updated the firmware but that does not seem to have helped.

What have you set regarding DHCP options? Have you left the default settings or changed them at all?

I tried default and custom settings.
