Router in focus

Most routers have a portion that is a switch. If your router has more than 2 ports, then some of the ports
are just connected to an internal switch. These ports will act the way you want.

This may vary from router to router though.
 
Yes, most routers have a switch side to them so you can connect multiple machines, but switches don't broadcast. I don't think there's a way to do what you want. Why would you want to broadcast though?
