Router in a hot room...?

Question...Do I have anything to worry about putting my router in my hot garage? The panel where all the cat5 wires lead to in our house is in an unventilated garage, which during summer days gets pretty hot. Will it be ok here? Its just a basic 4-port Belkin router. I'm not sure if router's overheating is a problem, but I dont really know what other options I have.

At the least, it will shorten its life. Could you use a cat5 coupler, and add some cable to get it in the house?

If you can get it in the house I would, but it should be fine. If anything put a roof vent\fan in the garage so it's more bearable for you while you're in there.
