I need a new wireless router. Wireless I have, 4 iPads, roku, samsung tv, laptop, desktop, wii. Wired I have , Apple TV , sagetv HD movie streaming, 2 tivos, samsung tv, desktop, laptop. I've seen the new asus router gets pretty good reviews but they are new to the game I'm used to linksys. But the linksys ea6500 doesn't get the best reviews.
What's the best router out there theses days? Thanks guys.

The best Linksys option is still probably the 4200v1, which you can't really get any more.

I'd buy the Asus N66u. If you want to upgrade the wireless, you can always add on a new AP. But the router/gateway side of the Asus is rock-solid and, with Tomato, really well-featured.

Only thing I worry about asus is security. I know linksys always had good security
