Router connectivity loss whenever a wireless client joins

I currently have a WRT54G with the Tomato Firmware installed and I am currently using a wired connection to the router. There is also another computer that is connecting wirelessly to the router as well.

Whenever the wireless computer restarts the computer or turns it on, my wired computer loses the connection to the Internet. I have to unplug the router and let it reboot so that I can access the Internet again.

Has anyone else had this problem before? Whenever I turn on my pc (wired), the Internet is still fine. It only happens when the wireless client joins the network that my internet goes out.

It is the DHCP server. See about assigning your desktop a Static IP address.

Did it do the same with the stock firmware?

When you say Lost Internet, is it only the Internet or the whole network connection?

Can you connect to the Router from the wired computer when it loses the Intenet?
