Router/Cable Modem Advice Needed

I'm sure this is a basic question, but here's my situation:

I'm moving into a townhouse & going the Road Runner Cable, and we'll be networking 3 computers/sharing internet.
My question is, what's the easiest/cheapest/best Router to get? Do i need a hub too? Money is tight so the least expensive option would be appreciated.

you dont need a hub, just a router.
as far as the easiest/cheapest/best router available, someone tell me, i need to get one too!

another possible option is ICS and a hub, but i hear its a pain to setup and/or less secure?
(never tried this myself though, so dont take my word on it)
but it would be much cheaper

 
you may also try getting more IPs from ur ISP and then getting a switch. This would be the most cost effective sol. No expensive routers.
 
GraveJoKer, I really doubt that would be cheapest. 🙂 I bet you're talking atleast an extra $10 a month for two IPs (if they're even offered), so a router would pay for itself very quickly.

What's the bandwidth for your DSL and cable options?
