router and users internet connection problem

Hi, I just installed a compaq wireless cp-2w ipaq connection point router. I have 3 users on my machine. Under my user where the install took place everything is running fine. Under the two other users I cannot get the internet to work. It keeps wanting to try to connect through my dsl modem like it use to. I am running windows xp home. I also did download the latest software update for xp from the compaq website.
Any help would be appreciated

David

Hmmm....just a thought.

do all three users have the same security-rights on the machine (ie: power user, admin, user, guest)?

If not, what are the levels that each have? I'm willing to bet the person that it works for has higher permissions than the other two.

Let us know.

The user it works on has admin rights. I know one of the other users are limited. Not sure about the third, but I'm pretty sure it has admin rights also. I will have to check when I get home.

Hmmm.....

I'm not sure what to say other than give Compaq support # a call.

It sounds like you're not getting DNS/Wins....but it's just a guess.
