Router and network settings

I want to make sure my network settings and router settings are at their best but havent been able to find a guide online to check with. Is there a particular place to get this info? Thanks.
 
The Router are uniform in their settings, and there is No Best.

You have to set it according to your needs.
 
As Jack said, every person's router settings are tailored to their situation. My router settings today weren't anything like they were a year ago, but as things have changed and my needs have changed, my settings have changed. I just make sure I back the settings up every month or so....just in case.
