I just got a netgear rt 311. I've been assinging ip's on my network up until now. If I set it to obtain an ip address automatically will that ip address ever change and how do i find out what it is? TIA
You must assign static IP adresses to your router. Otherwise there's a chance that the Ip adress of the computers gateway is changing. BTW is the router bootp compatible? If not you must install a bootp agent on the other segment.
