Hello all, I am currently running a "b" speed wireless router, I plan on hooking up
another wireless node to a spare PC and use it to run Google earth and show it on
my main TV. Is a "B" router fast enough for this or would a "G" router make a huge
difference??. Both NIC cards I have are "G" capable so I would be already to go in
that regard. Thanks in advance for any opinions suggestions..

B is good for ~ 2.5 Mb/s sustained throughput. If your internet connection is better then that, then upgrade. If it's not, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Since they are that cheap I'll probably just go ahead and upgrade, thanks all for
the advise..

Do they even make B only routers any more? Sheesh. Must be for people who just don't like the letter G for some reason.
