Router Advice? Get dual band now or wait

Purchased this router and it work's quite well., it's not dual band and it doesn't offer gigabyte ladn which i am ok with for now.

The route was $37, a steal for what it does.. does it pay to get the extra features now that i am not using or wait a year or two and upgrade at that time.

Everyone is telling me to get dual-band and gigabye lan which are grear features only if your current hardware supports it.

Suggestons welcomed.
