Route

Being from the West Coast I pronounce it "Rowt". I also pronounce root "rewt" which drives the Bostonians here nuts. They can't get over my funny accent:laugh:
 
Both actually... "rowt" if I'm talking about a mailman's route or a paper route, "root" if I'm talking about the path I'm taking somewhere.
 
courtesy of Merriam-Webster we know that either is correct and both are used.

Yeah same here. If I'm talking about place-and-route then it's "rowt". If I'm driving somewhere it's "root".
